GLARING ERRORS
This book is used for my class in networking at Deakin University, Melbourne Australia. So far we have found that two of the vital mathematical formulae are WRONG, and we are in the fifth chapter. If this were not enough to warrant a damning review, the Authour continually writes knee-deep in jargon, to a point that one wonders if he understands given topics himself. This is particularly noticeable in the second chapter, where he is trying to bring the reader up to speed. The text is being changed for next year because so many students are struggling with it. Try another book. This is the weakest link.

review on Multimedia information networking
I think it is a great book , especailly if you are an undergraduate student such my self. I liked the book a lot because it suits my needs regarding digitizing waveforms and using legacy Lan and Wan to trasmit high definition multimedia files.. The book also focuses on a lot of compression schemes as well as ATM . I think the author did a great job on this book . I would recommed this book to anyone interested in wave coding and ATM
