A great advanced intro. to materials science. - This is a wonderful academic introduction to materials. It's probably most siginficant as an early intellectual product of the present CEO of Intel (done when he was just an obscure professor).
Outstanding Book! This book is the best I've read in its class. It reviews all aspect of materials enginnering in a simple and understandable way. It is an excellent introductory book to materials engineering. It is also a good review of the basics.
