Book Description A timely, authoritative guide to eleven of the top-performing bond markets internationally Bonds continue to be among the most popular all around financial instruments among both private and corporate investors the world over. Now, from the experts at Reuters, the world's largest financial reporting service, here is an up-to-the-minute guide to the top performing bond markets globally. The authors begin with a detailed overview of bond market performance worldwide in 1995. This is followed by a number of broad-ranging forecasts for how bonds are likely to perform in 1996. Then, in a series of 11 sections, each devoted to one of the top performing bond markets internationally, they explore all relevant economic and political developments as well as a broad array of specific market-related events occurring in each country or region. They also discuss likely trends in prices, interest rates, and many other factors of critical interest to investors.
MARTIN ESSEX and RUTH PITCHFORD (London, England) are well-known international bond market analysts with Reuters.

Reuters Guide to World Bond Market This readable work helps clarify the vastness and the growth of the world bond market. The focus is mostly on the G-7 countries. Topics include the global economy, technical outlook, and country-by-country politics, ratings, and public debt. The information is dated which is understandable in such a fast moving market. It is a great overview. I would buy a new and expanded edition if it were offered.
