O Great One Allison is among the foremost contemporary interpreters of Kant and this collection, spanning both the German sage's theoretical and practical philosophy, is a gem. In the year I spent trying to master Kant, before submitting to a mild form of dementia, Allison stood on my night table as a constant source of support and clarification, as well as an object of rage and sometimes just as a place to put cups. I can't recommend this book enough. | ||
