Reviews

Best informative read yet on modern Britain.
Considering all the texts available on modern Britain, this one has everything imaginable in it-- plus in very readable prose and format. I also liked the chronologies after each chapter, and the lengthy list of suggested readings for specialists. All in all, having read every book on contemporary Britain I can lay my hands on, this is the best one I've seen.
