Reviews

Just what it said it is
I wanted to find out about Venture capitalists and Angels. This book provided the information in a clear and readable format. I was not disappointed.

easy way of Finding Money
I have read alot of books that are concerning money, investing, loans, etc. But the best book that I have read is Finding Money, The Small Business Guide to Financing. This was written by Kate Lister and Tom Harnish. Finding Money is fantastic and this publication provides accurate and authoritative information. I would keep a copy of this book for references now and in the future. Good book, well worth buying.

Best of its kind
This is the best book of its kind I have found. Not only does this book contain a tremendous amount of information, it is presented in such a clear, organized and logical way that it can't help provide effective guidance to even the most uninitiated. Forget the obtuse, textbook-style books you might be struggling with, this is the book you need if you are trying to find money for your business.

Help find the money I needed
Bought this book and the authors' other book "The Directory of Venture Capital" and found the money I needed. Previous review is right, the first reviewer obviously didn't read thisbook. It's to the point, no bull. But it if you're looking for money but don't know where to turn or how to go about it

Outstanding, to the point, source for finding money
Who ever wrote that one star review obviously hadn't read this terrific book. Seriously! There's four quotes in the whole book! Unlike other books full of stories and platitudes about small business this book tells it straight. After an overview of the difference between debt (loans) and equity (venture) capital...and what it takes to qualify for either, the book provides an indepth look at how to do your homework so you can getg the money you need. And it worked for me. If the book has a flaw it's the no BS, straight to the point style, but that suited me just fine. I'm busy running a business and wanted the meat so I can get on with it, not the relish, and Finding Money delivered big time. Not just who has the money, but details on how they look at you and how they decide if you're worthy of consideration for funding. If you read >this< book you won't be disappointed.
