Reviews

Save the money, use it towards the purchase of a Medicinal Chemistry Book
This book is good if you want a quick read on FGs in Medicinal Chemistry, you can read it in 3 sessions and pick up some concepts here and there, but you will need to look in other places to expand your knowledge more in depth. For that, I would rather save the money and use it towards the purchase of a good medicinal chemistry book, where you will find the same information and more.... don't get me wrong, this book here is perfect if you have to travel or commute to work by bus or train and need some reading, but to learn beyond it, then this is not for you,

Decent book
I had to purchase this book for a Principles of Drug Action class in pharmacy school. The book is pretty easy to read but very brief on all topics. This makes for a quick read but if you don't understand a topic, you will have to look elsewhere because there is simply not much 'depth' here. Overall a good review if organic is fairly fresh and will probably serve as a good primer but you will need other texts for depth.

Great OChem Review
I am currently in pharmacy school and we recently had a class about medicinal chemistry. I have not had organic chemistry or used topics pertaining to in over 2 years. Our instructor rccommended this book and the layout is easy to follow and to understand. I wouldn't use this if you are just starting organic chemistry, but more so as a review for further graduate level courses.

Review of Organic Functional Groups: Introduction to Medicinal Organic Chemistry
It is sad that someone will have the gult to sell this book copy on your site. the book was 8o% high lighted, ink pen writings and had almost underlined every page of the book. if this what you call fair, please review that remark and hope that this person is barred from selling anything on this website in the near future. I dicided not to return the book because of cost, the innoccent indidual should be able to trust you and the products that you carry.

great book
i have been exposed to quite a bit of organic/biochemistry but this book is very well written and serves as a review to these fields as well as a nice intoduction to medicinal chemistry. i guess they all kind of blend together anyway but lemke is a fantastic author, well worth the investment.
