Nursing Instructor Highly Recommends This Book! I teach nursing fundamentals and have found this book to be an excellent resource for all nursiing students. The entire Davis Success Series is well-done and extremely helpful in giving students a way to practice test questions over and over. Also helpful is the vocabulary lists and a glossary of common words used in nursing examinations...this is especially great for students that have English as a second language. The associated CD gives students additional questions to practice on the computer, which is helpful in preparation for the NCLEX examination. I only wish that the CD had more questions on it (there are only 150 total questions on the CD). If you want to be successful in nursing school, BUY THIS BOOK! | ||
A MUST HAVE FOR NURSING SCHOOL!!! With all the information thrown at you during Fundementals of Nursing and trying to get just an over all feel for the exams can be very intimidating. I was recommended to buy this and use it to study. Not only did it help prepare me for the material in Fundementals, but also for the whole new world of nursing exams. This book is a must have! | ||
The Best Book Ever! I wish I would have had this book from day 1. It is awesome. It really teaches you how to think critically because as you go through nursing school, you may end up memorizing info because there is alot of reading. Overtime you can loose your critical thinking ability. This book will bring all of the critical thinking back to you. After going through the book and using the CD, I realized that I do really know the info, I just need some more tips on critical thinking. You would be missing out if you didn't purchase this book. | ||
