Great book! I have a lot of watercolor flower painting books, but this fills a spot that is different from the rest. The flower paintings and demonstrations are almost surreal in some ways--very vivid colors--also very beautiful and uplifting. There are 15 beautiful and well-written and illustrated demonstrations with step-by-step instructions. The beginning chapters explain a lot about "The Basics" such as tools, composition & design, techniques, color basics. I love the vivid colorfulness of both the flowers and the backgrounds of Mary Backer's flowers. This book is a keeper. | ||
