Product Description A Dweller on Two Planets was "channeled" to FREDERICK SPENSER OLIVER (1866-1899) at his Northern California home near Mount Shasta over a period of three years, beginning when he was seventeen. The true author, according to Oliver, was Phylos the Thibetan, a spirit and one-time inhabitant of the lost continent of Atlantis. Oliver claimed not to have written any of the text, asserting here that he was merely transmitting that which Phylos revealed to him. In fact, professed Oliver, the manuscript was dictated to him out of sequence (much of it backward) so that he could not interfere with the outcome. In this classic of new age and spiritual literature, Phylos describes in rich detail the culture, politics, architecture, and science of Atlantis, as well as its demise. He addresses karma and reincarnation, and predicts technological innovations in the 20th century that match and even exceed those of Atlantis. Supporters maintain that many of those predictions came true. Read for yourself and decide.

very enlightening and very Christian in the best sense I'm a big fan of Edgar Cayce's books because...well, I believe in his material. In one of his books he mentions Phylos, so I bought it and am half way through. Really an excellent, VERY ODD, and quite amazing book that I DO NOT BELIEVE is a fiction. What's important to me is the message which is about LOVE. Won't say more. As for me, I was an English major in college. Later in life took a great many science classes for pre-med and for 20 years have worked in a hospital...this said to say I'm not a metaphysical nut job. I like my books grounded in love and forgiveness and are very Christ centered (in a good way!). So, if you are curious about this book READ it. You will enjoy it just for it's almost science fiction feeling BUT NOT science fiction feeling....that's all I'll say. Gee, I hope I don't sound like Paula Abdul...
Life Lessons "What goes 'round comes 'round" could be the theme of this enchanting book. A higher being delivered a message to a young man, F.S.Oliver, who obtained this information by means of "mental talks" during which the boy was conscious of the presence of his instructor. (It was not by "channelling" in which a spirit takes over a human body while the person's consciousness is absent and speaks through it.) It has been said that truth is stranger than fiction and this story is no exception. It gives a fascinating description of the ancient land of Atlantis as a young man, Phylos, searched for gold and found more adventures than he could handle. His further descriptions of his continued life story illustrate that we are all responsible for our own actions. His heartbreaking decisions became life lessons of pain and ultimate victory. This book is a page turner and an eye opener to the truth of life. I highly recommend it. One may never see life the same after reading this incredible story.
